Growing Global Solidarity for Agrarian Justice: Day of the Landless Campaign Gains Momentum

This year’s Day of the Landless campaign has been fruitful with no little effort and contribution from organizations’ on-ground activities, workshops, and educational discussions such as by Masipag, Artist Alliance for Peasant Rights, Pamanggas, Aliansi Gerakan Reforma Agraria Agra Nasional Aliansi Gerakan Reforma Agraria, สหพันธ์เกษตรกรภาคใต้ – SPFT, and the Pakistan Kissan Mazdoor Tehreek.

This yearly campaign is a sustained effort to continuously demand for genuine agrarian reform across Asia and the global South; to amplify voices from the ground; and to highlight the living traditions and practices that already carry the principles of truly progressive agriculture systems based on social justice.

The APC looks forward to the coalition’s expansion. The activities, messages, transcripts, and cultural outputs produced for this campaign will come out in the next issue of RISING OF THE LANDLESS, APC’s official newsletter.
