Founded by educationist, environmentalist and organic gardener, Nasira Habib, Organica Pakistan is fundamentally a research garden where she conducts an array of experiments in regenerating soil, making hot and cold composts, saving seeds and growing most of the local vegetables using agroecological practices.
A wide variety of trainings take place for school children, teachers, women gardeners and farmers and civil society organizations from all over Pakistan. These include: soil health, regenerating soil, making vermicompost, thermophilic compost, plant health and pests, seeds and seed germination, vertical gardening, container gardening, climate change mitigation through agroecology
Natural seeds, seedlings, organically-grown plants, and composts are also made available in response to the ever-increasing demand by home gardeners.
