Pesticide Action Network (PAN) Africa organizes training workshop on agroecological techniques and leadership trainings for women. The main objective is to enhance the knowledge of farmer-participants about agroecology and illustrate concretely on the field how these concepts and tools are being implemented. PAN Africa offers short and long term courses.
PAN Africa promotes environmental and sustainable agriculture protection based on the safe management and use of local resources. It works towards informing and sensitizing on the dangers of pesticide use in agriculture. PAN Africa’s commitment is to help reduce farmers’ exposure to hazards in their daily lives, provide affordable alternatives to the spiraling cost and dangerous chemical inputs, and prevent adverse environmental impacts. It provides trainings on alternative methods on pesticide use and agroecological farming techniques.
