BDSP P4S Kampoeng Kasih was established in 2022. It started with farmers engaged in food processing, but extended to agricultural production using the regenerative framework of agroecology. P4S was set up to facilitate training, workshops and any other capacity building activities in vegetable production, mushrooms and herbs cultivation, and food processing using a field-school approach. Crops include: nutmeg, rice, taro, avocado, papaya, banana, some herbs including torch ginger, ginger, turmeric, and various fruits and perennial food.
Currently, BDSP P4S Kampoeng Kasih has 150 members, 80% of whom are women, with ages 19-55 years. Members are mostly small-scale peasants, sometimes landless farm workers or part-time farmers who also work at the local factory. It offers training on the following:
