In this 2-minute video, PAN Latin America (RAPAL) regional director Javier Souza Casadinho provides an overview on what constitutes highly hazardous pesticides. This was produced in time for the global network’s participation at the “Fifth session of the International Conference on Chemicals Management” as a major policy advocacy initiative to eliminate the use of HHPs because of the severe and irreversible damages this particular class of pesticides can have on human health, and significant negative socio-environmental impacts. The conference was held in September 2023 at Bonn, Germany.
